Composition Study

I am thrilled to announce that after sixteen years of composing full-time, I have now joined the faculty at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana as the Professor of Music Composition and Theory at the Hurley School of Music. I will give you the tools to craft your music into the master-works of tomorrow. Come join me!

Concert Music

My music has been performed by premiere ensembles in prestigious venues, from Carnegie Hall in New York to the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco. After four years of study with me, you'll learn how to take a seedling of an idea, develop it into a finished work, and prepare your newly notated composition for publication.

Film/TV Scoring & Music Production

Before I began teaching at Centenary, I lived for a decade in Hollywood composing commercial music. I have scored numerous films, from award winning documentaries and action-packed features to advertising spots for Apple. I also served on the Film Scoring faculty at the Aspen Music Festival & School where many of my students went on to compose for network TV in Hollywood. Students who choose to focus on film scoring and music production will leave with a thorough understanding of today's current music technology and the knowledge of what it takes to make it in this highly competitive industry.
